Do you want to work in a varied role within IT support where you also drive projects in a rapidly growing company? Then this could be the job for you!
We are looking for a dedicated and versatile IT support specialist with project responsibility who enjoys combining practical IT work with managing smaller assignments and projects. You will be an important part of First Camp's IT team and contribute to developing, improving, and securing the organization's IT environment.
In this role, you will continuously work with IT support but also take responsibility for projects, such as integrating new destinations or implementing systems and services. The position reports to the CTO and involves significant personal responsibility within a team with high engagement and close collaboration with the business.
Since we are a strongly seasonal company, it is important that you are available to work during our peak season, which runs from mid-June to mid-August. You will be able to take time off but preferably not several weeks of consecutive vacation. During this period, you will also have great flexibility to work from a location of your choice. During the rest of the year, we prefer that you are in the office at least two days a week. This is thus a role with a lot of freedom under responsibility.
Main responsibilities
IT support (approx. 25% of the time, full-time during peak season June–August)
Handle incoming support requests from users within the organization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, networks, printers, software, and systems.
Ensure that users receive prompt and professional assistance.
IT operations and system maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, networks, and security solutions.
Monitor operational status and ensure stability and performance in the IT environment.
Document routines, processes, and system changes.
Project management and development
Lead and coordinate smaller IT projects and assignments, such as implementing new systems, upgrades, or migrations.
Collaborate with suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Identify and drive improvement proposals to increase efficiency and quality in the organization's IT support.
Qualifications
At least three years of experience in IT support, operations, or system administration.
Good understanding of Windows client environments, cloud services, networks, and servers (Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, UniFi, etc.).
Experience leading or participating in IT-related projects.
Analytical ability to see the big picture and understand how IT services support the organization's goals and needs.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented, solution-focused approach.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive issues forward.
Post-secondary education in IT, computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English; knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, or German is a plus.
As this is a mobile role, you need to have a driver's license.
Personal qualities
Structured and methodical, with a good ability to plan and prioritize.
Solution-oriented and curious, with a drive to continuously improve IT services and personal skills.
Enjoys a varied role with both operational and coordinating tasks.
Good collaboration skills and an understanding of the importance of providing effective support to the business.
Positive, helpful, and communicative – you gain energy from helping others.
Willingness to travel to our destinations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Germany for regular visits to the business.
Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and conditions.
Prepared to travel to our destinations for regular business visits.
Employment type
Permanent position, full-time.
Location: Stockholm, Östermalm.
As an employer, First Camp places great importance on our employees having the opportunity to plan for four weeks of consecutive vacation. As an employee at First Camp, you are an important part of a seasonal business, where activity is highest during the summer (mid-June – mid-August). Therefore, we prefer that this is taken into account when planning your main vacation and that it always occurs in consultation with your immediate manager.
